During 2nd Saturday Artrageous Artwalk, please join the Blue Door Artists in celebrating our newest addition, resident artist, Andrea Adair-Lasserre. Her most recent body of work is inspired by her garden; both the floral beauty as well as the nasty vermin invaders. These new paintings deal with opposing forces that normally evoke both annoyance as well as happiness, and depicts them into a soft harmony. The style takes a scientific botany approach in combination with a whimsical impressionistic feel. A reception will be held Saturday January 14th from 5-8pm. Blue Door Artists is located at 205 ½ Centre St in downtown Fernandina. Look for the gallery’s blue doors between Island Coffee and Go Fish leading to the colorful staircase.
