The Blue Door Artists will feature the work of fiber artist, Lynette Holmes, at the Artrageous Artwalk, Saturday, Feb 13 from 5-8:30pm.  Her new weavings emphasize bumps, ruffles, and open spaces using felting techniques.  The Blue Door Art Gallery is a collective of nine working artists studios and located at 205 1/2 Centre Street. in downtown Fernandina Beach.  Regular hours are Mon-Sat 11 am – 5 pm.  For more information call Lynette directly: 904-557-1187.

Please Join us this Saturday for the Artrageous Second Saturday Art Walk in Historic Downtown Fernandina Beach.  Come see what your favorite artist has been up to, and get a SNEAK PREVIEW of our Small Works Show!
The Small Works Show is our popular annual show that is traditionally held around the holidays promoting  smaller, more affordable art, and handmade gift items.  Original paintings, artsy ornaments, unique jewelry, scarves, limited edition prints, and other handcrafted items will be for sale.   It is designed to provide a wide array of one-of-a-kind gifts that (mostly) range from $6 to $100  -  affordable for any holiday budget.   A specially chosen piece of art makes a unique gift for a friend or family member and when you buy directly from the artist they are able to keep prices low.
Many tourists love to purchase a small trinket or bit of local flavor to take back home with them. A visit to the Blue Door is the perfect way commemorate your experience on Amelia Island.  Many pieces are reflective of the region, while others are contemporary abstract works.  We have something for everyone in a wide variety of genres, styles, and price.

This year will be our 5thAnnual Small Works Show. It traditionally opens the Friday after Thanksgiving – The Downtown Pajama Party at 8AM (Yes, 8AM!) We are also open late for the Artrageous Art Walk, every Second Saturday of the Month, so you have plenty of opportunities to come out and appreciate this special show.  So we hope you are able to join us.

SNEAK PREVIEW: With small artwork, and a few holiday cards – Saturday, November 14th, 5-9PM.
OPENING: Friday, November 27th 8AM – 6PM.  Our holiday tree will be up and LOADED with handmade ornaments.  Seasonal Cards,  wearables, Seasonal gifts, Jewelry, MORE ART will be available as well.  Wear your Pajamas to the Annual Downtown Pajama Party, and come in before noon to take advantage of SPECIAL SALE DISCOUNTS!

The Blue Door Small Works Show will be on display through the month of December.
